Wales Rise to 17th in World Rankings

The Welsh Korfball Squad has increased it's IKF World Ranking to 17th following the latest announcement by the IKF in December following the World Championships in Shaoxing, China. Wales' World Ranking - 18th


March 5th 2011

On the 1st November 2010, the IKF has released the updated world ranking.

Thanks to the squad's success at the IKF European Bowl in 2007 and 2009 and its most recent success at the IKF European Championships in The Netherlands, Wales has increased its ranking to 18th with 51.5 points. This is a great increase from its joint 24th place (10 points) in January 2008.

WKA Receive First IFK Ranking

In the new official IFK rankings published September 2007, Wales have been included for the first time.



Officially recognised on only the 1st January this year, Wales have, through thier impressive victory in the Eurobowl (West) event entered the 51 strong team list at 24.
