Wales' World Ranking - 18th March 5th 2011

On the 1st November 2010, the IKF has released the updated world ranking.
Thanks to the squad's success at the IKF European Bowl in 2007 and 2009 and its most recent success at the IKF European Championships in The Netherlands, Wales has increased its ranking to 18th with 51.5 points. This is a great increase from its joint 24th place (10 points) in January 2008.

Wales Lose to Slovaks in Eurobowl Final July 4th 2008

Wales were unable to complete the fairytale of claiming a major title at the very first attempt after being beaten in Brnu, Czech Republic, by the winners of the Eurobowl East, Slovakia.
Having won their heats in Luxembourg earlier in the year, this was Wales's chance to perform on the biggest stage of all.

Wales beat Sweden in Interlands Friendly July 1st 2008

Continuing their warm up for the following weekends Eurobowl final against the Slovaks, the interlands game against Sweden was held in the city of Stadskanaal the day after their tournament. With the Welsh beating the Swedes earlier in the year, the Swedes would certainly be out for revenge.
