Preparation for autumn tournaments

After a successful trial session, the welsh coach has selected this year's WKS. There has been a few additions to the Squad, but most players have retained their caps. In alphabetical order, this year's WKS will consist of Sally Adlen (Cardiff Dragons), Hannah Ager (Birmingham City), Susan Belfourd (Cardiff City), Ruth Campbell (Bec), Zoe Gabica (Cardiff City), Julie Prosser (Cardiff City), Tonya Richards-Clarke (Bec), Ramzi Barbir (Cardiff City), Dave Buckland (Tornadoes), Chris Gubby (Cardiff City), Kevin Jones (Manchester Warriors), John Williams (North Downs), Nick Wilkins (Birmingham City).

The next tournament will be a preparation weekend in Stadskanaal at the end of October. This is a high level international tournament with club teams from Germany, Portugal, Bosnia and The Netherlands. There will also be an official international match on the Sunday against Germany. This match will count towards the IKF rankings.

The following weekend is the Eurobowl West, a qualifying tournament for the European Championships. More information tbc.

We wish the Squad all the best in these tournaments.
